If you want to replace a window motor, window regulator, door lock actuator or door speaker on a 2001 Saturn L200, you’ll first need to take off the door panel. The panel itself not only hides the door’s interior and adds to the overall aesthetics of the Saturn’s interior, it acts as a sound barrier to insulate the passenger compartment from outside noise. It also helps the environmental control system keep the ambient outside temperature from affecting the vehicle’s interior temperature. If you possess some basic mechanical skill, you can take the door panel off in less than 30 minutes.
Official recalls have been issued for the 2001 Saturn L200 by the NHTSA. The complete details of all recalls are listed below, along with what they cover and the recommended solutions.
