1992 Mitsubishi Diamante 4dr Sedan

I bought my 1992 Mitsubishi Diamante in 2003 for $1,800. It had 130,000 miles on it, but still ran like a top. It now has 158,000 miles and still runs well. I only had one problem, the ECM which was about $400-$500 to fix. Otherwise it hasn't cost me a penny other than regular stuff that all cars need. It always starts and has never left me stranded. The styling is great, it looks very classy! This is a great car, worth buying!

SCHAUMBURG — Carjackers stole a 1992 Mitsubishi Diamante from a Rolling Meadows man Saturday night outside Woodfield Mall, police said. The victim told police an older dark Chevrolet Impala rear-ended his car about 8:30 p.m., authorities said. When he pulled over, someone from the Chevrolet had a handgun, and pulled him out of his car and demanded his wristwatch and cash, police said. The gunman drove off in the victim's car, followed by another man in the Chevrolet, police said.

Not that the 1992 Mitsubishi Diamante, despite the sparkle of its name, is luxurious in line with the Michelin Guide or vicuna bathrobes. It's more of a near-luxury car. Or, if you'll forgive a fashionable conflict of adjectives, an affordable luxury car.
