ob Sandkaut reached out to Speedville a few weeks back regarding a special vehicle he owns with a storied past. This week’s Ride of the Week is a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Club Sedan. This car is the ninth ’57 Ford produced. It is a pre-production pilot car with a lot of unique featuers not found on ’57 production cars.
We are very excited to present this 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Club Sedan F-Code! This Raven Black over Gray cloth is finished in its correct configuration and powered by its correct F-Code Supercharged 312ci V8 and 3-speed manual transmission. This car was built to go fast and therefore does not have a lot of dress-up equipment. The car does have a heater, AM radio, wide whitewall tires, dashboard clock, fender skirts and front bumper guard with Vee bar. The car rides on classic Fairlane hubcaps with G78-14 Coker Classic tires.
